Researchers (www.EncodeResearch.com)
have spent the past 25 years studying the hypothalamic-pituitary
axis and its relationship to aging, genetic diseases, and
L-Arginine. They received the first Glycemic patent ever awarded,
and the first patent for L-Arginine crossing the Blood-Brain
Barrier.
Their
groundbreaking research led to the discovery of Blind
Amino Acids, and the first safe transport system for
amino acids to cross the BBB, instigating the release of the
anti-aging hormone, Growth Hormone from the hypothalamus/pituitary.
It
was during this research they noted that the neurohormone,
Cortisol was under the control of centers sensing blood glucose
(glycemic) levels, and was also controlled by the hypothalamic-pituitary
axis.
This
finding led to the scientists to develop a method for de-coding
Cortisol and its negative actions on the human body. In effect,
they discovered a mechanism for mitigating the actions of
Cortisol, which is known in the biochemical arena as downregulation.
The
researchers stated that they intend to utilize this research
in the health, nutrition, sports medicine, and Nutraceutical
fields by educating companies on methodologies for reformulating
foods, beverages, and Nutraceuticals that downregulate Cortisol.
These
methodologies include formulae applications involving Low
Glycemic, anti-ketogenic glycoside carbohydrates produced
from highly refined fruit-extractions, a proprietary process
developed and clinically researched in Board Approved Human
In Vivo Trials.
The
anti-drug sports advocate group, Human Sports Performance®,
has officially approved the glycosidic compound for use in
sports-related products.
